Hi. This is the part of the website where we tell you what we do with your information. We tried to write it like a human would talk, not like a lawyer would bill.

Here's the short version: we only collect what we need, we don't sell anything to anyone, and we won't email you unless we have something worth saying.

Who we are

She Ships SaaS is a community and movement founded by Hannah Siegertsz. When we say "we" or "us" on this page, that's who we mean.

What we collect

When you fill out a form on this site, we collect:

• Your name

• Your email address

• Your LinkedIn profile URL (if you give it to us)

• Whatever else you share in open text fields (what you're building, your stage, etc.)

When you visit the site, we also collect some automatic stuff:

• Your IP address

• Your browser and device type

• Which pages you visited

• How you got here

That's it. We don't ask for anything we don't need.

Why we collect it

Three reasons:

1. To stay in touch. If you joined The Ship List, we use your email to send you updates, event invites, and resources. If you gave us your LinkedIn, Hannah may reach out directly.

2. To run events and Lives. If you applied to go live or registered for an event, we use your info to coordinate logistics.

3. To make the site better. The automatic data (page views, device type) helps us understand what's working and what isn't.

What we don't do

We don't sell your information. To anyone. Ever.

We don't share your information with third parties except the tools we use to run the site and the community. Things like email providers, form platforms, and analytics. Those tools only see what they need to do their job.

We don't spam you. If you're on The Ship List, we email you when we have something good. Not on a schedule. Not for the sake of it.

Tools we use

To keep things running, we use a few third-party services:

• Email: for sending The Ship List updates

• Form platforms: for collecting signups and applications

• Analytics: to understand how people use the site

• Event platforms (like Luma): for managing events and RSVPs

Each of these has its own privacy policy. They're all standard tools used by most websites.

Cookies

The site uses cookies (small files stored in your browser) to remember things like whether you've visited before. You can turn them off in your browser settings if you want. Most of the site will still work.

Your rights

You can:

• Unsubscribe from emails anytime (there's a link at the bottom of every one).

• Ask us what we have on you. Email hannah@sheshipssaas.com and we'll tell you.

• Ask us to delete your data. Same email. We'll handle it.

• Correct your info if something's wrong.

If you're in the EU, UK, or California, you have some extra rights under GDPR and CCPA. That includes the right to know what we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of anything that counts as "selling" your data (which, again, we don't do).

How we keep it safe

We use standard security practices to protect your information. Encrypted connections, secure third-party tools, and access controls on anything sensitive. No system is 100% bulletproof, but we take it seriously.

Kids

This site isn't for anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from minors. If you think we have, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll update the date at the top of the page. Big changes will get an email to The Ship List.
