This is the part of the website where we explain the rules. We kept it short because nobody reads these, and we'd rather you actually knew what you agreed to.

By using this site, joining The Ship List, attending an event, or applying to be a guest on a LinkedIn Live, you're agreeing to the stuff below. If any of it doesn't work for you, just don't use the site. No hard feelings.

Who we are

She Ships SaaS is a community and movement founded by Hannah Siegertsz. When we say "we," "us," or "She Ships SaaS" on this page, that's who we mean. When we say "you," we mean you.

What this site is

She Ships SaaS is a community for women building SaaS products in public. We run LinkedIn Lives, in-person events, and a community around the #ShipLog hashtag. We share resources, host conversations, and occasionally sell tickets to events.

We are not a SaaS product ourselves. We are not a financial advisor, legal advisor, or business coach. Nothing on this site is professional advice. If you make business decisions based on what you read here, that's on you.

Using the site

You can use the site as long as you:

• Don't break any laws while using it

• Don't try to hack, scrape, or break things

• Don't impersonate anyone else

• Don't use the site to harass, bully, or harm anyone in the community

If you do any of the above, we reserve the right to remove your access without warning. We'd rather not have to, but we will.

Your account and information

If you join The Ship List, apply to go live, or register for an event, you're responsible for:

• Giving us accurate information (real name, real email, real LinkedIn)

• Keeping your login details secure if we ever add logins

• Letting us know if something changes (like your email)

If you give us fake info, we can't help you if something goes wrong. And you might not get invited to things.

Events

Some of our events are free. Some are paid. Here's how that works:

• Paid events are ticketed through platforms like Luma. Once you buy a ticket, refund policies depend on the event. We'll tell you up front.

• Free events are free. But seats are limited, and showing up matters. If you register and don't show, we may not prioritize you for the next one.

• All events follow a simple rule: be respectful. Women are here to build, connect, and feel safe doing it. If you harass, harm, or make anyone uncomfortable, you're out. No second chances on that one.

LinkedIn Lives

If you apply to go live on She Ships SaaS:

• We review every application. Not everyone gets picked. If you're not a fit for the current round, we might reach out later.

• If you're selected, we'll schedule a time that works for both of us.

• The Live is recorded and may be shared on LinkedIn, the website, or in email campaigns.

• You keep ownership of what you say and what you built. We just get to share the recording.

• You can ask us not to share the recording publicly before it goes live. After it's public, we can't always pull it back.

The #ShipLog

The #ShipLog is a public hashtag on LinkedIn. Anyone can use it. We don't own it, but we do curate the best of it.

By using #ShipLog on your posts, you're giving us permission to:

• Reshare, comment on, or feature your post on She Ships SaaS channels

• Include your post in roundups, emails, or event content

If you don't want us to feature your post, just tell us and we'll respect it.

Intellectual property

Everything on this site (the copy, the design, the "Ship It Already" stamp, the She Ships SaaS name and branding) belongs to us. You can screenshot and share stuff. That's encouraged. But don't:

• Copy the site and pretend it's yours

• Use our branding to sell your own products

• Claim you're part of She Ships SaaS if you're not

Your own content (your posts, your comments, your builds) belongs to you. Always.

What we don't promise

We built this site with care. That said, we can't promise:

• The site will be up 100% of the time

• Everything will always work perfectly

• Every event will happen exactly as planned

• You'll become a successful founder because you joined

We're a small, growing community. Stuff will break. We'll fix it. Bring patience.

Limits on what we're responsible for

We're not responsible for:

• Anything you do with the information, resources, or connections you get from She Ships SaaS

• Anything that happens between community members (business deals, partnerships, arguments, breakups, whatever)

• Business decisions you make based on anything said on a LinkedIn Live, at an event, or in the community

• Technical problems with third-party tools like Luma, email platforms, or LinkedIn itself

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for anything related to this site or community is capped at what you paid us in the last 12 months. For most people, that's zero. Which feels about right.

Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, we'll update the date at the top. Big changes will get an email to The Ship List. If you keep using the site after we update the terms, that counts as agreeing to the new version.

If we disagree

If something goes sideways, please email hannah@sheshipssaas.com first. Most things can be worked out with a quick conversation.

If we can't work it out, these terms are governed by the laws of the state where Hannah lives (currently Washington, USA). Any legal disputes will be handled there.
